Australians love to eat Asian food. While there is no shortage of adventure for our palates when eating out, it’s not always the same in our kitchens.

Five Tastes is an exciting range of authentic Asian pastes, sauces and ingredients which are clean, fresh and bursting with flavour. We use authentic recipes and market fresh ingredients to help bring the vibrant taste of Asia to your kitchen.

The secret to great-tasting Asian cuisine is its balance of the five essential tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, salty and savoury (also known as umami). Five Tastes has perfected this balance, making experimenting with Asian cooking easier for the Aussie chef. That means holding onto the taste and letting go of the confusion. Great flavour does not have to be hard work.

We also know that satisfaction comes from a little bit of effort so our products are not ready made – just ready to experiment. With Five Tastes there’s less room for error, more time to be inspired!
