Vietnamese Crab And Lychee Salad

  • 45g Five Tastes Stir Fry Shot – Vietnamese Lemongrass & Kaffir Lime
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 170g can crab meat in brine, drained
  • 10-12 fresh lychees, pitted and halved
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup bean shoots
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • Large fresh mint leaves, for serving (optional)
  • Fried shallots, for garnish


Step 1

Combine Five Tastes Stir Fry Shot and lime in a large bowl. Toss crab meat, lychees, spring onions, carrot, bean shoots, coriander and mint through dressing to coat well.

Step 2

Place a small amount of salad on top of mint leaves to serve or alternatively spoon into a serving bowl and toss mint through. Garnish with fried shallots and serve immediately.

Tasty Tip!

For an extra kick, garnish with 1 chopped red chilli in STEP 2.
